Awarding Ceremony of Certificate of Appreciation from the Government to the Major Donor to HNAP Fund

On September 18, 2024, the ceremony was held in the Office of the Director General to present the certificate of appreciation to BML,inc. for its donation to the Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize Fund.
At the ceremony, Hiroki Matsuda, Director General of the Cabinet Office, presented the certificate of appreciation to BML,inc. The Director General Matsuda also expressed his appreciation that the Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize plays an extremely important role in promoting disease control and public health in Africa, and that the donation will encourage many people and researchers who are working for Africa through the laureates of the Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize and lead to the improvement of health and medical care worldwide.

BML,inc. explained that we are striving to improve medical care, mainly through its clinical testing business, and recognize the need for support in the area of infectious diseases, and the Nippon Medical School introduced to us that this prize was intended to promote public health and countermeasures against infectious diseases and illnesses based on Dr. Noguchi's aspirations, which prompted us to make the donation.
