The insignia of the Fourth Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize Award (Medical Services Category) was handed over at the Consulate-General of Japan in Atlanta, USA

On 3rd March 2023, at the Consulate-General of Japan in Atlanta, USA, Ambassador MAEDA Miou handed over the insignia of the 4th Hideyo Noguchi Africa Prize to the Carter Center (Guinea Worm Eradication Program), the laureate of Medical Services Category. The award ceremony was already held on the occasion of the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD8) in Tunis on 28th August 2022.
